Take Your Fitness Routine on Vacation

December 10th, 2008

Spa vacations are in the air. Awake, Disney addicts, New York shoppers, Royal Caribbean Cruise takers, and Paris museum hoppers! Awake to yoga on the beach. Tilt your face toward the wind and inhale. It’s a whole new way to vacation. It’s a true rest and break from your work. It’s a way to put your body, mind and spirit first; to make meaningful friendships; and to learn stress-free life habits.

Forget about the stress of seeking glitzy entertainment in metropolitan discos or the stress in catching tour buses, waiting in museum lines or following city maps in foreign languages. Forget about fussing with your significant other about whether to dine in a recommended posh bistro or a hole-in-the-wall Mom and Pop. And, especially forget about those hotel bagels and dependably bad coffee.

Imagine returning from your vacation renewed and rejuvenated, not exhausted from a tight itinerary and the stress from fighting traffic and tour lines. Imagine feeling toned and detoxified, not bloated and sluggish from erratic and rich dining. Imagine waking each morning of your vacation and joining a group of others for yoga on the beach as the sun rises or spending your afternoon in a waterfall hot tub after an exercise class that followed a healthy cooking lesson. Imagine having a massage before dinner and taking a hike, a walk or a bicycle ride after dinner.

A spa vacation can enliven the mind, restore the body, refresh the attitude, and regenerate the spirit!
